In retrospect I’m shocked I didn’t buy it – after all, who wouldn’t want to play a game of shame? (Note that the phrase ‘The game that WILL make you laugh’ belongs to another board game and is probably copyrighted by Walt Disney).
We’re also trying to find something witty to say about the name on this laundry receipt. How about “My wife, Mrs Negstrom, has been a bit negative lately”. Nah that’s lame. Suggestions welcome!

We used to catch him dancing wildly to her songs, singing along in his little soprano. Maybe it was her goat-like voice that did it for him? Something familiar and barnyard about it? Either way, she was his gal.

That is, until we returned to the States a few weeks ago. Bieber fever hit our little pig and hit hard.

Justin Beiber: a voice for all the world’s little creatures.

P.S. Sorry JB. I don’t mean to knock you that hard, but some things about my reentry into American culture are wierding me out and you are definitely one of them.

The other day we found this duck, quacking agitatedly at a row of caged chickens. It was as if the duck wanted to convince the chickens about the outside: the big world out there, about seeing new horizons and about the freedom of travel.

Sorry to say, the chickens remained unimpressed. As we walked away, we could still hear the duck’s frustrated nattering. Cute.

You can’t blame them – Sweden is cold and a bit dreary for most of the winter. Come spring, people need to blow off a little winter depression with a fresh helping of booze. Lots and lots of booze.

 

The Valborgsmassoafton festival takes place every 30th of April. It’s big Swedish hello to Spring (aka a day-long party followed by bonfires at night).

 

Today’s SOOPic was shot in Uppsala at, oh, around 3pm. I’m willing to bet they didn’t get to this year’s bonfires.
